This 12-piece, 36-specimen prepared microscope slides set is great for kids and young students. The slides are manufactured with safety in mind, made from durable plastic and no sharp edges making them safe to handle. It is the ideal product for educational purposes, entry-level students and home school programs.
The set consists of a variety of zoological and botanical samples including Animal Hair, Insects, Pollen and Plant Anatomy. Each of the 12 slides measures 2.36" x .79" (60mm x 20mm), and has 3 separate specimens. The slides are color-coded into four categories: Animal, Insect, Plant Pollen, and Plant Root, Stem, or Leaf. These slides are best-suited for non-mechanical stages.
